To make a Donation in
memory of Alicia Cooper:
Thanks to everyone who made this years walk/run a huge success.

Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at Tuscora Park, New Philadelphia, Ohio

At last count there were 110 walkers/runners registered
and many more who participated.
This event was held in memory of Alicia Cooper, a
New Philadelphia 17-year old who passed away on
January 3, 2010 from Aplastic Anemia in the Cleveland Clinic
Children’s Hospital, only 2-1/2 months after being
diagnosed.
Aplastic Anemia is a bone marrow failure disease that
affects 1 in 3 million people every year in the United States.
The Children’s Hospital is now building a bone marrow
transplant center. This walk will benefit that and also help to
further research of Aplastic Anemia.
